Overview

Located on Woods Hole Road on the approach to the world-famous village of the same name, Lighthouse Station sits on 5.3 idyllic acres of land overlooking Vineyard Sound with views of Little Harbor, Martha’s Vineyard, and the Elizabeth Islands. Thirty-nine 55+ residences, all unique in size and configuration, are contained within the property’s five detached buildings.

Building Info

Building B, Building C, Building D all contain two townhomes, each with two-stories a piece. Building E is three stories tall and has 13 residences with a mix of two-story townhouses and single-floor apartment units throughout .

Historical Site

Also on the property is one of the first geodesic domes built by noted architect Buckminster Fuller. Constructed by Fuller and his team of MIT students in 1953 for the Nautilus Hotel, the Dome served as a local restaurant for years before being abandoned. The Dome is a protected historic landmark and is being refurbished to maintain its legacy.
